Senior Business Analyst | Dublin | Hybrid | Permanent

Hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a growing technology consulting practice working with clients across Financial Services, Public Sector, Life Sciences, and more.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to understand business goals and translate them into functional and technical requirements
• Gather, define, and document business and solution requirements for IT system enhancements, replacements, or new implementations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional delivery
• Contribute to business development activity including proposals and client presentations
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement sessions
• Perform As-Is and To-Be process assessments in support of Target Operating Model design
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Coach and mentor junior team members

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a consulting, industry, or government environment
• Proven experience gathering and documenting business and solution requirements for IT programmes
• Experience across one or more sectors — Financial Services, Public Sector, Life Sciences, Utilities, or Telecoms
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, multi-vendor environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Third-level degree or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience in Waterfall and Agile delivery, including User Stories and working with Product Owners
• ERP or CRM implementation experience (Oracle, MS Dynamics, SAP or similar)
• Background in process design, modelling, and TOM assessments
• Business development or proposal writing experience
